Cutest Grove E-Session Ever!

May 21, 2019

From the moment I talked to these two on the phone a few months ago, I knew there was something special about them! The ease of conversation made me feel like we’ve been friends for a long time! Its like I could hear them smiling on the phone they were so warm and friendly!

Fast forward to our session together at the Groves and the smiles translated into the cutest engagement session with two people that are madly in love! The way the talk and carry themselves towards each other is just full of adoration and I know these two are headed for a life full of happy memories together!

Nick and Rachel, I am so happy you two found each other and cannot wait to be there for your big day this summer! Hugs and see you both soon!

“To be completely honest I don’t think there was distinct moment when I first knew I was in love with Nicholas. We joke that our first date was a little awkward, but from the moment we met no mater how awkward our first date may have been I have always had an amazing feeling about him even before I got to know him deeper. I could tell what an amazing person he was, how huge his heart is, how incredibly loving he is, how hard working he is, how he put others first, I saw his huge heart, his love for the Lord and so many other amazing traits.  Overall I had this amazing feeling about him even though I was extremely nervous because right in front of me was the most handsome man I had ever laid my eyes on. The more we got to know each other I truly realized how blessed we were and how I had completely and utterly fallen in love with him.” – Rachel

“What makes our relationship work well is how alike we are. We enjoy an active lifestyle, exploring new places and just laying low after a long day. Another thing that makes our relationship work is how open we are with each other. We always talk things out and work together as a team when one of us is dealing with something pressing. I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with Rachel! ” – Nick

“Our first kiss was… on our second date. This date was so much fun.  We went to a little dive bar called Paddy’s in downtown Scottsdale. Upon walking in Paddy’s we noticed Paddy’s was full of regulars, people who played pool weekly. We decided we would play after getting a drink. After getting a drink we got in line to play. Everyone was really nice and it was an awesome atmosphere where people joked who would win. Winners always got next. When Nick and I came up I’m pretty sure we lost in less than a minute…I felt terrible because I was so bad. Let’s just say I am NOT a talented pool player lol. We got in line to play another and in between games we were chatting with other people in line. We got comments on how cute of a couple we were and someone even asked if we were married. I looked at Nick as he answered, No not there yet and chuckled. In between games we sat down on some stools by the pool table and he put his arm around me. In my head I thought wow I really like that, that’s so sweet. I sure wasn’t going to make the first move even though I really wanted him to kiss me…I wanted him to and then the next thing that happened sure enough he kissed me and it was sweeter than sugar.” – Rachel

” Our proposal story…was a complete surprise. So we went to California for my 23rd birthday weekend and planned on getting getting couples photos done on the beach the day before my birthday. In preparation for these photos I had gotten my hair and nails done. His parents actually gifted me with a mani & pedi for my birthday that I used right before we went so that my nails would look pretty for our photos. Now we did go ring shopping before going to California and he took me to look at a couple because he wanted to get me a ring that I loved the style of, and many people told me that is the perfect time for him to ask you as we were getting photos, would be on Coronado Beach, I would have my hair and nails done..etc…BUT I had this conversation with my mom and I was like mom honestly do you think he will ask? And she said honestly I do not know when he will ask, as he had already asked my parents for my hand in marriage at this point, but my mom said that he told her that he would not ask me on my birthday weekend. So I truly thought he would not ask me in California. Truth be told he had told my mom that he would not ask on my birthday and it was the day before. Hehe. The photographer had asked us to walk down and back the beach so she could get so good shots so we did and on the way back he stopped and it clicked in my head. While he was asking I was just like what oh my gosh, YES. All while crying. All our photos from this moment I am absolutely balling, they are all tears of joy I assure you. I cannot wait to marry the man of my dreams.” – Rachel

“My favorite thing about Rachel is her heart. She is always thinking of others and is genuine with everything she does no and everyone she meets no matter what others think.” – Nick

“The first time I said I love you to Rachel was when she visited me in Minnesota when I was working there. We had a long day of exploring the new city that I recently moved to and we were laying next to each other and I couldn’t stop thinking about how much I wanted to say those three words to her the last month and trust me there were many times before this moment I wanted to say it to her but I was too nervous to. Then I said it and I kept saying it back and forth to each other as we held each other. And yes I said I love you first. ” – Nick

SO excited for June!! – Much love, Jenn
