We can’t help but fall in love with this couple as we hear about their story of how Tori and Austin met, fell for each other and now are planning their gorgeous wedding next year at Villa Siena! They were both easy going and clearly infatuated with the other as they strolled this autumn day together hand in hand in Gilbert, stopping for a quick kiss, but smiling before and after! These two are clearly meant to be together and we cannot wait for their wedding! we are so happy for you Tori and Austin! – Shannon and the Studio girls

“For me, it takes me awhile to fall for someone, but when I do, I fall really hard. Austin and I were friends for about 6 months first and then it just blossomed into more unexpectedly. We dated for awhile before actually making it official because I was working in Pennsylvania for the entire summer. I really missed him during those 3 months away and I knew then that I was smitten. We made our relationship official on my 22nd birthday, right after I got home. He treated me like a queen. He would randomly kiss me at stoplights, spoil me with chocolate when I had a rough day, or leave sweet messages on sticky notes around my house. Our first Thanksgiving was spent in California together. We had all his friends over for a Friendsgiving the previous night and then went to his family’s house for a big get together. It was during that first holiday spent with him and his family that I realized I really loved him and that I wanted this for a lifetime.” – Tori

“Austin’s proposal was a surprise. We had previously talked a lot about wanting to get married, but we were in no rush. He had asked me what type of rings I liked to get an idea a few times. Sometimes he’d ask my ring preferences in random conversations or when we were out shopping at Costco. In June of 2019, he went home to California for his birthday and I had no idea that before I got there, he went to buy a ring with his mom. We had a birthday party for him in his parent’s backyard and he asked for my parents’ blessing that night and of course I had no idea. He planned to propose to me on our anniversary, which was also my birthday. But, I bought us a trip to Austin, Texas for his birthday gift in July of 2019, and he knew that would be a perfect time. So, on July 17th, 2019, we went to explore the Texas State Capitol. There was a security checkpoint as we walked in and he had to take out the ring. He was so nervous that I would see it, but I was totally oblivious. I went through security before him and walked off to go explore. He was so nervous and trying to find the right time and place in the Capitol to propose. He kept asking me questions of reassurance, like ‘how much do you love me?’ I thought it was a bit strange and that definitely got me suspicious. Finally, he led me to a quieter corridor in the Capitol and got down on one knee. I was so shocked! I wanted to take a picture, but I still hadn’t given him an answer, I was just in shock. As he’s shaking with the ring in his hand, I said yes excitedly and heard people clapping as they passed by. Our hands were both shaking a bit, but we both really happy. We had a great celebrating afterwards. It was definitely a day to remember.” -Tori

“Our first kiss was not very romantic, but one to remember. I remember it because he asked me if he could kiss me. We were hanging out in California at his apartment. I remember thinking I’ve never actually been asked before and it was a bit strange to me, but Austin is a gentleman. Of course I said yes!” – Tori

“My favorite thing about my fiancé is the way she demonstrates great work ethic. She’s a hard working teacher and extremely dedicated to her kids. She spends hours at home creating lessons and grading papers or staying after school to help tutor or coach volleyball. She never misses a day of work and she’s always there to support her coworkers. I truly admire it. Her work ethic inspired me to go back to school and pursue my dream career in technology.” – Austin

“I told Tori I loved her first. I said it about 7 months into our relationship and it was on Valentine’s Day. But, I don’t think I really grasped that I truly loved her until about almost 2 years into our relationship. The first year and a half of our relationship was long distance. She was living here in Arizona and I was living in California and we’d travel to each other for a short weekend as much as we could. We would work a full week, leave on Friday afternoon, and arrive late Friday night. We had to leave Sunday morning. It was difficult and sometimes we had to go a month or two without visiting because of our schedules. I was 21 when we first started dating and I really had no idea what I wanted in life. She really gave me a clear direction and helped me to see my purpose. Although it took me a long time to realize this, I finally did. At that point, I knew I wanted her to move in with me in California. I knew it was asking a lot for her to move states, so I was a bit nervous. This was in December of 2017 and I spilled my heart out to her over the phone. She was not expecting me to ask her to move in, but she was elated. She left her home behind to start a new chapter with me. At that moment I think we both knew, we really loved each other and that we’re meant to be.” – Austin“Our first kiss was not very romantic, but one to remember. “Our relationship works well because we both have the same values and we’ve both envisioned what we want our future to look like. We understand what it takes to make each other happy and we compromise with each other. We support each other and make sure we go on dates at least once a week.”- Austin
