“My favorite story is our proposal. It makes me laugh every single time! We had been together for 5 years at this point. I was ready to get engaged and kept bringing up the topic. I never thought Brandon would ask me. I told myself I would give him an ultimatum by the end of the year. It was the night before my birthday and he said we should go for a hike in the morning at South Mountain. I always told him it was a dream of mine to go up to South Mountain and watch the sun rise or fall over the valley. Year after year we tried to make it up to the mountain before the gates closed. I eventually gave up hope on the mountain. Little did I know he had the whole thing planned for awhile. We woke up around 4:30AM that morning and I was not in the mood for a hike. I kept saying to him, “do you realllyyyy want to go on a hike? I’m fine if we don’t.” But he was all about doing this hike. It was March and freezing. We drove up to the top of the mountain and it was so dark. We waited until the sun came up and it was so beautiful!!! Once I had seen the sunrise, I was ready to go. It was so cold and it got to the point I couldn’t feel my toes. He kept telling me we should wait a little longer and just enjoy the view. Again, I was kinda over it at this point. He found a lady to take our picture on this ledge. He went to go get his phone from the lady and disappeared for a couple minutes. I figured he got me balloons or something and wanted to surprise me. All of a sudden my parents came from around the corner and they were crying. I knew right then what was happening. I cried like a little baby. More like bawled. This was so important to me to have my parents there. Not too many months before this,  my dad almost died. He was in ICU in life support and we almost lost him. For him to be there to witness this moment in my life, I couldn’t be more happy. Brandon got down on his knee and proposed. Then I understood why he wanted to wait awhile longer for my parents to show up. I couldn’t stop crying all day. The best moment in my life so far! I get to marry my best friend and love of my life.” – Taylor

“ The first time I said the words I love you to Taylor was after we had been dating for months. We were hanging out during just about any free time we had, basically everyday. I had a family trip coming up where I was going to be gone for just a week but wanted to take Taylor out before leaving. We went on a nice date and had a great time. When it was time to drop her off we sat outside her house for a couple hours talking. I knew I loved her just didn’t know when I should tell her. But when I was leaving Taylor started crying (she is a cryer) and I knew that if she couldn’t handle being without me for a week that she must of felt the same way. So I got out of the car again and hugged her and told her I loved her and she responded with more tears! But was eventually able to say it back. ”- Brandon

“ My favorite thing about Taylor is that she is always the life of the room. She never forgets to remind me that she was class clown in high school and she lives up to it daily. She constantly does things that cracks me up. She doesn’t have a problem with laughing at herself with the goofy stuff she does and says. She always makes the best out of everything and loves to make the best moments with family and friends.”- Brandon

“I knew I was in love before our first year of being together. He quickly became the first person I wanted to tell everything to. I looked forward to seeing him or calling him after work or school. We could talk on the phone for hours. He’s always been my best friend from the very start. I could genuinely be my authentic self around him. It just felt right. He’s always stuck by my side through all obstacles. He would write me little notes of his favorite moments together. (Which I still have to this day.)” – Taylor

“I always think of our first kiss as the shy, middle school crush kind. We had been exclusively talking to each other for a few months after high school graduation. Let me remind you I had a crush on him since Junior year of high school! We rekindled the flame and started hanging out at his house with some friends from school. He walks me out to my car and gave me a peck on the lips. There isn’t enough butterflies in the world to describe how I felt. My biggest crush from high school just kissed me! I remember him smiling so big and walking back inside. We were inseparable after that. ” – Taylor

“What makes our relationship work so well is that we communicate with each other and we know when something is wrong with and make sure to pick each other up. We can always count on each other if one of us needs something. We also try to make the most out of everything and have fun with anything we do. We can have a good time without spending money or going out because we both don’t need a lot, and as long we’re together we can make the most out of anything.”- Brandon

We are so excited for you guys and cannot wait for your wedding day!
