Clayton on the Park Colorful Wedding

April 4, 2019

It was a gorgeous destination wedding here in Scottsdale Arizona for Kelsey and Andrew as they gathered with their closest friends and family for an unforgettable day! Their entire wedding had a modern elegance to it with such great attention to detail and color! We will never forget what a sweet highlight the first look was for these two as Andy saw Kelsey for the very first time! We loved watching their faces dance with joy as they embraced and from then on they couldn’t take their eyes off each other! We could help but choke up with emotion too as they embraced!

As a bride, I don’t think Kelsey ever stopped smiling the entire day, she was simply stunning with a wonderful bride tribe who looked out for her all day and made sure everything went just as planned! At the ceremony, a close friend had the honors of marrying them and he had everyone laughing and reflecting on what a special relationship Kelsey and Andy have.

While Andy and Kesley skipped of with us to do some sunset photos at the Scottsdale Civic Center, the rest of the guests were treated to a fantastic patio cocktail hour with perfect ambiance! Coming down the stairs a little while later for their grand entrance, Kelsey and Andy joined the fun at Clayton on the park and kicked off a killer reception! From the classiest food stations we have ever seen at a wedding, to a hilarious chicken dance that Kelsey did with her dad, the whole night was just incredible!

Andy and Kelsey were so warm and endearing, they felt like we’ve been friends for a long time! It was such a pleasure and honor to capture their incredible day! All of our best to you both! – Shannon, Kayla and the Studio girls

Thanks so much to these INCREDIBLE vendors for putting together such a flawless day! The design and execution came together perfectly and it was so great working with you all!

“Seeing her for the first time in her dress. It was such a special moment and she looked so beautiful. “-Andy

“I have so many favorite moments. Our first look and letter exchange was probably my favorite. I was so nervous up until that point, and once we saw each other for the first time, all of those nerves went away. The letter exchange was also so special. After being together for 10 years, it was very emotional to put everything we love about each other into private notes just for each other to read on our wedding day. It’s something I will always cherish.”-Kelsey

“Have fun! The planning and the wedding go so fast. And remember, it’s you and your fiance’s day, no one else’s. Stay organized – it will keep you sane! AND last but not least, one of the best decisions we made was to hire a day of coordinator. It allowed us to truly enjoy the day without sweating the small stuff.”-Kelsey

“We had a small wedding party, my two best friends from high school (both named Andrew), and Kelsey’s two best friends from high school and college. It was an intimate group which was perfect for us, and it made our day so special. “-Andy

“We had a destination wedding which made choosing a venue a little tricky! We wanted an indoor/outdoor feel and something right in Old Town Scottsdale. The location, layout, and food/beverage packages were the most important things to us! We wanted bright colors with succulents for our florals and were going for a modern, desert theme. “-Kelsey

“After we were done with pictures and before we did our grand entrance was the part I would re-live. It was the one time of the day where we were just together with our best friends – no cameras, videographers, or other wedding guests. It was a great moment to soak it all in, celebrate and laugh before the reception started.”-Andy

“My maid of honor falling at the bottom of the stairs after the grand entrance. That’s one to laugh about and remember! There’s so many other things – our lighthearted/funny ceremony, the toast from one of Andy’s best men right after our first look, and doing the ‘chicken dance’ with my father in law.”-Kelsey
