Colorful Winter Villa Siena Wedding Day

February 1, 2019

Having shot over 150 weddings now, I’ve seen a lot of first looks… but I will never forget the moment Chiara and Arturo saw each other for the first time on their wedding day. It was full of tears, laughing and just the sweetest embrace between them! It is rare that I choke up while I’m working, but Arturo’s reaction to seeing his beautiful bride in her stunning wedding dress as she approached him on the lawn of Villa Siena was just so touching! I was wiping away tears too! It was so obvious in their emotion towards each other, just how much these two love each other and I can tell they are destined for a beautiful life together full of great memories!

They had SO much support from family and friends, the ceremony space and massive reception ballroom literally bursting at the seams with so many people there to support them on their big day! I’ve never seen so many people at a reception! Their families were so excited for them and the bridal party kept them laughing all day! It was such a joy to capture their once in a lifetime day! Thank you for allowing me to be your photographer, Best to you both as you begin your life together as husband and wife! – Much love, Jenn

Thanks so much to these INCREDIBLE vendors for putting together such a flawless day! The design and execution came together perfectly and it was so great working with you all!

“My bridal party was great. Since the beginning I could tell that they all genuinely wanted to share this moment with us. From tart to end they stood by us with a huge smile on their face. I have known all of them for a real long time and I have many memories of all them individually and as a group. They really enjoyed being a part of the wedding and I’m really glad they were there.” – Arturo “Villa Siena was actually the first venue that I looked at for my wedding. I looked at several others after that, but I just couldn’t get that specific venue off my mind. We went back to take a look at it a second time months later with my Mom, and we ended up booking it that day! I wanted to keep our colors for the wedding classy and timeless. We stuck to just black, ivory, and “wine” for the wedding party. For florals, we went with lots of cream Peonies, with touches of peach and light pink Ranunculus flowers, burgundy Garden Roses, and long Pepper Berry vines.”- Chiara

“ The moment that sticks out most in my mind, without a doubt, was the first look. I don’t know if it was the anticipation of it all but when I first saw her my emotions got the best of me. I also enjoyed the fact that we were alone for that short period. We had so many guests trying to congratulate us the whole time that it was nice to spend a little alone time with my bride.” – Arturo

“Everything about our wedding day exceeded my expectations. If I had to choose one of my favorite moments, it would have to be during the “first look” photos with my husband. When we saw each other for the first time and locked eyes, I’ve never felt so happy and complete in my entire life. There was so much emotion that happened in those first few minutes alone together. I will never forget that moment we shared.” – Chiara

“My husband and I were both pretty nervous the day of our wedding. Upon arrival, Jenn was so warm and welcoming. She really created a great vibe for us. She was great at giving direction for poses and made us feel so comfortable. While planning the wedding, she made the recommendation of doing a “first look” series of pictures with my husband. At first I really wanted to keep things traditional and not see my husband before the ceremony.  She gave me advice on the pros and cons of both options, and we decided to do it after all. Let me tell you, I am SO glad we did! On our wedding, shooting the “first look” pictures ended up being one of my most favorite moments of the entire day. Jenn is so genuine, and a true master of her craft. I would absolutely recommend Jenn Wagner Studio.” – Arturo

“My advice to couples planning their wedding would be to pick a venue that has a wedding coordinator. It alleviates so much stress by having someone you can trust to give you advice and credible recommendations for vendors. I honestly don’t know what I would’ve done without the amazing wedding coordinators at Villa Siena! They really helped every step along the way.”- Chiara

“The thing I loved most about Chiara  seeing how happy she was through her eyes and smile. I truly felt her sincere love the whole day, and I couldn’t ask for anything better in a life partner.” – Arturo

“I wish we could re-live the hour after our grand entrance. People were so excited to go see us. I think we might have been a little overwhelmed, but we appreciated all the love. I wish we had more time to go around individually and thank everyone for being with us. So much love was shown to us.” – Arturo

“We wanted our first dance as husband and wife together to be special.  We didn’t want to just stand on the dance floor and sway back and forth. Since I am not blessed with the gift of dance (I’m pretty much terrible), we had gotten our dance choreographed and taken lessons. Even with the dance lessons, we could never seem to get through the whole dance without any mistakes. We must have been blessed on our wedding day, because our first dance was seamless, and the crowd loved it. I think it added a nice, unique touch to our day that people will remember.” – Chiara
