Elegant Outdoor Wedding at the Country Club at DC Ranch

November 19, 2019

Katie walked through the glass doors, his back turned to her and she smiled and tears formed in her eyes… she walked forward and the moment Ryan turned around to see his bride for the first time on their wedding day, his mouth literally fell open. It was adorable to watch them tear up as they greeted each other with hugs , and then took turns checking out their wedding attire, I think they were both still in shock that their day was actually here, that it was *happening*!

From there we strolled the grounds of the perfectly elegant DC Ranch, Katie and Ryan arm and arm, and smiling ear to ear. It was so adorable to see them interact, Katie excited and Ryan couldn’t stop staring at his gorgeous bride! It was a wedding we will never forget, with so many picture perfect moments from every part of the day, the ceremony overlooking the mountains, the reception dance floor lit up with a thousand sparkly lights, and more tears and laughter during dances and toasts from their loved ones!

The night ended perfectly as these two dance the evening away surrounded by their loved ones. We were so thankful to be there to capture all these beautiful moments of their amazing wedding day! Katie and Ryan thank you for including us as you began your journey as hubby and wife!

Much love, Jenn, Kayla and the Studio girls

Thanks so much to these INCREDIBLE vendors for putting together such a flawless day! The design and execution came together perfectly and it was so great working with you all!

“I loved everything about Katie. She looked beautiful in her dress and I felt so lucky to be
marrying her. She did an amazing job planning the wedding and the whole day couldn’t
have gone better. She knocked it out the park.” – Ryan

“The first look was so special! I loved being able to share that moment with Ryan, just us. All
the emotion of the day and leading up to the wedding was released and a calm almost came
over us as we really got to take in that we were getting married and it was all happening! I
would highly recommend doing a first look to anyone considering it!” – Katie

“My bridal party was a mix of friends and family. My three cousins were a huge part of my
life and childhood. All of the memories of holidays and family get togethers over the years
made it an easy decision to have them be part of our special day. As for my groomsmen
friends, they are everything to me. My closest friends that I have spent the last 10 years of
my life with. They know me better than anyone excluding my family and it was amazing
having them by my side as I got to marry my best friend.” – Ryan
“The moment that sticks out most was the vows. We both got emotional and I will always
remember it. Telling someone how you feel about them, in personal way, in front of over
100 people is nerve racking but I’m so happy I got to express my love to her in front of all
our friends and family.”- Ryan
“I had a beautiful custom-made veil made with lace from my Mom’s dress that I was SO
excited to wear but the darn thing just didn’t want to stay put! I think it fell out at least 5
times during the ceremony which turned into a funny moment during the ceremony as my
sister was trying to push it back in, but it just didn’t want to cooperate! ” – Katie

“ If could re-live 1 hour of the day, I would go back to the ceremony. The moment went by so fast, but I will always remember the feeling and emotions I was experiencing. Kate looked so beautiful and I wish I could freeze frame her walking down the aisle.” – Ryan

“Being from Arizona we knew we wanted to take advantage of the nice weather and get
married at a venue with everything outside. The Country Club at DC was the first venue we
went to and we fell in love! I would describe it as dreamy with all the twinkling lights along
with having a Tuscan feel that makes if feel elegant and romantic.
Since it is outside with lots of natural greenery we felt like the venue really spoke for itself.
We focused on more muted natural colors for the flowers and décor with pops of blue our
accent color. ” – Katie

“Everyone says this, but the day goes SO fast! Leading up to the wedding I was so focused on
the details and the schedule but once the day came I just sat back and let everything
happen and really enjoy the moment. That being said, since we had such amazing vendors
we were able to let go the day of due to all the trust we had placed in them and everything
was perfect! ” – Katie
