Elegant Troon North Golf Club Wedding

March 21, 2019

From the moment I met Nicole and Matt, I was excited for their wedding day at Troon North! This venue never disappoints and has some of the most beautiful scenery here in Arizona.

As I started on the details Nicole walked into the reception area and we immediately gave each other the biggest hug! She looked absolutely gorgeous and Kayla and I couldn’t wait to photograph one of the most important days of her life.

One thing that stood out was the love Nicole had for her family and friends! She made sure to honor her grandma who had passed and made a special photo pin of her to put in her bouquet.

It was time for the first look and as Kayla placed Matt, I opened the doors for Nicole to come out and she immediately began to tear up! You could tell all the emotion and love for Matt had hit her and there he was waiting for her to tap him on the shoulder. As she walked up to him and he turned to see her he was in absolute awe of how gorgeous she looked! I loved how he spun here around to see every angle of her!!!!!

The wedding ceremony was just perfect and they even had their Dog Myla walk down the aisle!! It was full of so much love!

The reception was decorated so beautifully, each centerpiece with gorgeous flowers! They even had confetti blowing all around them as they had their very first dance together as Mr. & Mrs. Frett! Nicole’s dad made an amazing toast about all the love he has for Nicole and Matt and even surprised them with a firework show!! The whole day was just perfect and Kayla and I feel blessed to have been a part of it! We hope the images bring them back to that very moment they committed themselves to each other for a lifetime!

“my favorite time of the wedding day was getting my hair and makeup done, I was so excited about getting ready. I will also always remember my Mom helping me put my dress on.”-Nicole

“As my Dad and I were walking down the aisle, I began to cry. The whole scene of our ceremony and the setup made me tear up, along with the music the harpist was playing. As we were walking, I saw our dog, Myla, she started to whine and get excited when she saw me, this made me laugh and cheered me up. My bouquet also had a charm photo of my Grandma. We were very close and having her photo hang from my bouquet made me feel as if she was with me all day. Our first dance also sticks out. We had a confetti cannon that shot out during our dance, I was nervous for our first dance, but I wish we could do it all over again.”-Nicole

” Tips I have would be to not look on Pinterest so much, I made the mistake of constantly looking at different floral arrangement pins, I got confused on what I wanted and changed my mind on arrangements many times. I did the same thing for invitations, there are a lot of options out there, but I would suggest going with something classic and timeless. It also helped that my Mom was very involved with planning, she and I went to tons of appointments on the weekends together and shopped for everything we needed so I had no need for a wedding planner 🙂 “-Nicole

“I picked this venue because most of the people attending our wedding came from Chicago. The ceremony took place on the golf club’s event lawn, which was filled with green grass, cactus and mountain views. I thought that this view depicted Arizona perfectly and it was something you’d never see in Illinois. The colors I chose were amethyst, silver and magenta. I love jewel tones and wanted colors that weren’t commonly used in weddings. I chose various flowers in these colors and had magenta roses because my other Grandma’s name was Rose. The silver tablecloths we had made our floral arrangements pop. One of my favorite parts our reception were our menus, they were clear menus that were placed on the charger, they were so unique and I thought they were an unexpected touch. We also had a dog bone bar in honor of our dog, guests were able to fill bags of dog bones to take home to their pet 🙂 I also love donuts, so I had a donut display alongside our cake. “-Nicole
