I kept them way longer than I should have the first time we met to talk about their upcoming wedding, but I just couldn’t get enough of their story! I had question after question and luckily these two were sweet enough to give me all the details of their meeting, and more recent, INCREDIBLE engagement story that happened in  Santorini!  My photo loving heart was all in when, get this you guys, he actually figured out a way to have amazing photos (pre and post question) of the proposal itself without Brielle catching on that her proposal was happening at ALL! What!? How does that happen!?

Okay so Stephen actually  arranged for the hotel to approach *them* like they needed some “stock photos” for their marketing and asked them to “be models” for the evening. Totally believable and she didn’t think twice about it. They both dressed up, and took shots around the property, Brielle non the less wise that Stephen had actually set the entire thing up and that her proposal was going down that night. That is… until he got down on one knee on a white rooftop, the blue Santorini water sparkling below, photographer to the right snapping photos! She was in total disbelief and said it took her a while for it to really sink it what had happened!

I made them show me all their photos on their phone from this incredible proposal and it is so much prettier than I could possibly put into words. The fact that up until the actual proposal itself it was a complete surprise to Brielle, that’s just my fave! Oh this story belongs in some fairytale book! It was perfect and Brielle and Stephen deserve that perfect story! They are both so sweet, and love each other so much! I am so excited for their beautiful wedding and we got to spend some time at Villa Siena documenting this sweet time as they plan out their dream wedding with Imoni events at Mountain Shadows in the spring!

“When I knew I was in love with Stephen I wanted to see if he would say it first but I also didn’t want to wait any longer because I was getting anxious about it. I needed to tell him how I felt and so I did when we got into a fight at Whiskey Row in Old Town Scottsdale and he said “I love you!” That’s all I needed to hear from him!” – Brielle

 

 

“Stephen and I talked about marriage and went ring shopping so I knew a proposal would happen. I just didn’t know when and I also didn’t want to think about it too much so I would stay patient. Having said that, we went on a trip to Santorini Greece and that’s when he asked me to marry him! Stephen hired a photographer for the proposal but had the hotel act as though it was for their advertisements so I wouldn’t catch on. We agreed to take photos and at the end of the photo shoot Stephen grabs my hands telling me how much he loves me and got down on one knee asking me to marry him! I was shocked of the proposal and was also shocked at how he planned everything so perfectly!” Brielle

 

 

“My favorite thing about Brielle? Everything! Especially her easy going personality. She hardly gets mad, except at the bar at Whisky row when I don’t tell her I love her! (haha) and she can always make me laugh, even when I may be in a bad mood. She enjoys living in the current moment. When we traveled to Greece and Germany in September, she just enjoyed being in the moment, with me, on an incredible trip without worrying what we were going to do the next day or next week.” – Stephen

 

 

“After our second date of bowling, Stephen went in for the first kiss and right then all my nerves went away and my love for him started to grow with how the kiss sparked!” – Brielle

“I first said “I Love You” to Brielle when we were out in Old Town Scottsdale with friends at Whisky Row. I don’t remember exactly what had happened, but she had gotten mad at me, and then proceeded to say “You haven’t even said you love me yet.” I then told her how I felt about her and that I loved her!” – Stephen

“We are very easy going and down with the flow. We enjoy doing a lot of the same things, and watching the same shows (Impractical Jokers, Bachelor/Bachelorette/ Bachelor In Paradise, The Voice, and many more). Trust and love of each other makes everything easier.” – Stephen
