Romantic Wedding in the Italian-Inspired Setting of Villa Siena – Shannon

October 2, 2017

Its seriously always one of our favorite moments of the day, the first look. There is always this incredible build-up; the getting ready, the makeup, the suits, the boutonnieres , the polish and lace. The putting on of the dress that you’ve been waiting months to wear for real. And finally the two people that are stepping into a lifetime together that day, get ready to  see *each other*, and its just amazing.  Their is an air of excitement  and joy, sometimes tears and covering of mouths in shock! It is always a memorable moment! And Brittany and Grant were no exception!

Brittany approached in the romantic vineyard walls of Villa Siena towards Grant who had his back turned. And when she finally tapped him and he turned around, it was the cutest ‘Ahhh!” moment ever! His hands went straight over his mouth and in amazement at his glowing bride and then he gave her the biggest hug! It was so fun to capture this sweet moment between them!

We loved everything about this sweet couple and wish all the best for both of them as the start their life as hubby and wife! Big hugs you guys! – Shannon and Dusty

I honestly can’t pick just one thing I loved the most about Brittany on our wedding day. She was stunning in every way. 10’s across the board, just simply perfect. I’ll stick to the question though. Seeing how happy she was all night is what I loved the most. Her being the happiest bride meant the world to me. ” – GrantWedding invitation suite with details Wedding invitation suite with details

“There were so many amazing and beautiful parts of the day, it’s too hard to pick just one.  I loved getting ready with my Bridal Party.  We went to my bridesmaid Justin’s house where he had cute décor set up, fresh fruit, homemade coffee cake, and mimosas waiting for us.  Later in the day his boyfriend made us bruschetta and salad with wine.  It was so fun talking and laughing as we got our hair and makeup done and it made the morning truly feel special.  Another moment was our first look.  Grant basically jumped back and put his hands over his mouth in shock when he saw me.  And another was my father walking me down the aisle.”-Brittany  Beautiful portrait of bride on her wedding day in white full dress

A single moment, however, that’s a piece of cake. Our first look. I could re-live that moment for the rest of my life. The shear shock and awe of seeing the love of your life dolled up like that for the first time is indescribable. It’s something I can never forget.” – Grant

“I was so ready to see him!  I am so happy that we decided to do the first look.  It was a special, private moment that I will never forget.  I felt excited and nervous, but happy to finally see him!”-BrittanyBride and groom wedding day portrait bride and groom walking while holding hands

Michael is my best friend and someone who I can absolutely count on for anything. We met during my freshman year of high school and instantly became best friends. We had so much in common that it was inevitable. He’s the only person I would consider as a real brother because we have been through everything together.

Next is Nick. I’ve known Nick since the first grade and we lived five houses down from each other for over ten years. I can’t even begin to explain all the trouble we used to get in, at home and school. It was ridiculous. He’s my childhood friend that will always be in my life.

Everybody has that one really smart, but at the same time, goofball of a friend. Luke is my goofball. We also met early into high school and it’s never a dull moment with him. He can always make you laugh without even trying.

Adam is the one groomsman I met through Brittany. He’s the go to tech guy and someone I look up to in this game called life. He’s one of the first friends to get married, own a house, and is a successful business owner. It’s great to have a friend you can learn from like that, even though he’s a Steelers fan :D.

Last, but not least, is KC. We became friends at the beginning of college due to him dating a friend. Even though that relationship didn’t work out, this friendship did, and there was no getting rid of him. KC is the friend you want to go have a good time with and get can real together. Someone you feel comfortable talking about anything with. ” – Grant

“I had originally seen Villa Siena online before we were even engaged and immediately loved it.  Being Italian, I loved the architecture and overall feel of the Venue.  Awhile later we actually attended a friend’s wedding there and that’s when Grant saw it and really liked it as well.  We felt comfortable there right away.  For our colors, we wanted to go with something more fall (as we did get married on the first day of fall J).  Blue has always been my favorite color and I loved the way dusty blue, rose gold, and grey looked together for a romantic modern feel.”-Brittany  Bride with maid of honor Wedding dress deep V neckBride with mother

No family, no friends, only Brittany and I. I personally hate being the center of attention and public speaking so I was getting extremely nervous. All of that changed when she started walking down the aisle and made her way next to me. After that, holding her hands and looking into her eyes were the only things I could focus on. It calmed me, allowing me to overcome having to be in front of everyone. That’s the moment that stuck out the most to me during the ceremony. The ways she helps me without even knowing it.  ” – Grant

“I loved having a private moment with Grant in the ballroom after the ceremony.  I loved seeing my Grandma (who broke her hip two months prior and almost didn’t make the trip from New Jersey) out on the dance floor for most of the night.  Seeing everyone truly enjoying themselves at our Wedding was such a good feeling.  They are there to support you, and you want them to have a great night as well. (and it shows your event was a huge success!)

One other thing that makes me laugh looking back on, was before everyone was moved into the ballroom.  My bridesmaids were taking me to the bathroom for the first time in my dress (that was an experience itself lol).   We went to the far bathroom to stay away from the guests and started dancing and taking pictures in the hall.  During this they started moving the guests to the ballroom where we were.  My bridesmaids immediately grabbed me and we ran through the back hall (where the caterers were setting up food) like we were avoiding the “paparazzi”.  Peeking around corners to make sure no one would see us.  It was such a cute, fun moment that we shared after the seriousness of the ceremony.”-Brittany
