“I love Andy’s refusal to see anything but the good in people. He will not attribute negative qualities to anyone, whether they are a lifelong friend or a new acquaintance. It inspires me to quickly find the best in people too, and to strive to be understanding and patient, first and foremost.”-Katrina
“Her dress, bouquet, and the preparations were all great, but seeing her go through each of the same feelings I was going through throughout the ceremony and evening – happiness, joy, celebration – stood out the most. Those things help make her beautiful every day, not just on our wedding day, and on that day I got to see all three together over and over again. “-Andrew
“I remember feeling extraordinarily relaxed all morning while my girls and I were getting ready. I think it finally hit me that I was marrying my best friend when I was standing in the hallway alone waiting to walk down the aisle. As soon as the music started playing, the emotions kicked in big time!”-Katrina
“I think it’s an easy choice – the ceremony. The opportunity to have all your loved ones, family, and friends in one place as you talk about what you’ve cherished in the past and make lifelong promises to your wife for the future doesn’t come around very often. It’s what every other hour of your life hopes it could be.”-Andrew
“Bennett, Colin, Donald, Ryan, Santi, and Joey, my brother and best man, are 6 of the many people who keep me grounded when life is going to plan and help me to stay on track when it is tougher. I rely on each of them in a different way so no one is really playing a role per se. Each one is constantly redefining what our friendship and brotherly love means to them and it influences how I think about things elsewhere in my life every time I hear from one of them about the things that really matter.
“We chose to have our ceremony in the Paradise Garden and our reception in the Gold Room at the Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix. It’s my hometown and we loved the venue’s timelessness and how it could take on the character of what we wanted for our wedding day, which was a natural feel with a hint of elegance. We used soft spring colors in our accents and florals including light peaches, pinks, and ivories with lots and lots of greenery.”-Katrina
“The moments before Katrina came out with her dad to walk down the aisle. We’d planned the ceremony music together and the anticipation and excitement of knowing what the song change meant was a lot to handle.”-Andrew
“The first moments of each new stage of the day. I absolutely loved seeing how all of the pieces of our wedding and ceremony that were separate in my mind beforehand (ceremony, music, florals, food, table settings) came together to make the perfect day.”-Katrina
