Holiday Wedding at Garden Tuscana

December 20, 2018

This wedding just gets me into the Christmas spirit! With its popping colors of red and green, so much love to go around and our biggest wedding with over 400 friends and family joining this celebration, Ricky and Jessica’s wedding day was just perfect! The girls all got ready at Garden Tuscana, sipping on Starbucks casually while the room was full of florals and gorgeous dresses hanging here and there. Jessica was one of the calmest brides I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing, she just soaked in each part of her day, laughing with her girls while they helped her slip into her dress in the courtyard before driving over to the ceremony to get married which was at the church that she grew up attending and volunteering in! Ricky was so excited to see his bride and throughout the entire Mass Service, they were smiling at each other! So darling!

Afterward, we got to spend time with Ricky and Jessica and their bridal party as we snapped fun photos with the prettiest backgrounds! We loved getting creative in a colorful space that had so much diversity in a smaller area! From white drapery to gazebos to hanging florals, it was like a photographer dream because we had so much to work within such a small space, which meant, less walking for our couple (hello saved feet) and tons of variety! Not to mention Ricky and Jess were just completely infatuated with each other the entire time!

Fast forward to the reception where I legit don’t think I have ever seen such a PACKED dance floor from the very moment they opened it up until the last song was played! This crowd knew how to party! There were kids dancing their hearts out that stole our hearts and couples of all ages that totally rocked it on the dance floor! We wanted to jump right in when they played Despacito! It was such a lively reception and you better believe we couldn’t wait to sneak in a carnitas taco when they opened up the taco bar at 10:30! Heck yes! Kayla and were all about it and seriously after being on your feet for 12 hours, nothing sounds better than a taco plate full of authentic food! So Delish!

One of our favorite parts of the night though had to be when Ricky and Jess did their sparkler exit! Everyone was cheering them on, and somehow Jess’s makeup and hair still looked good too! It was a magical way to end the evening as the two kissed beneath a rainbow of sparklers!

Thanks so much for letting us capture your magical wedding day you guys! We wish the very best for you as you celebrate your first Christmas together as husband and wife and spend every holiday together here after! With much love, Jenn, Kayla, and Dusty

“The flowers I picked where really just roses. I was not sure what I wanted but I didn’t want to pick something that I had no clue about. I trusted my florist and I would not have changed anything she had done for me. She knew what I wanted and how I wanted it. Even though I was unsure about it myself. ” – Jessica

“I love Jenn and her crew! Jenn, Dusty, and Kayla are absolutely amazing and they made me feel comfortable throughout the whole day. We were on time with everything with the help of Jenn and her team. She listened to me and what I wanted in my pictures. We had a hard time finding a photographer for our wedding because I am picky about my pictures and the personalities with others. Every time I met with someone else I always thought back to Jenn. She photographed my Whole wedding day. From morning til night. I do not regret getting another photographer because none of them compare to her and her team.”- Jessica

“When I was a little girl I had always known I wanted burgundy or purple in my wedding. When it came down to colors, it was really whatever looked good on my bridesmaids. I picked burgundy because it is a winter color and I have always wanted winter apart of my wedding. Blush was a surprise pick from me because I do not like pink. But the burgundy and blush looked amazing together. ” – Jessica

“The moment that sticks out the most is when Jessica was walking down the aisle to meet me at the altar. She looked beautiful in that dress, her make-up all done up, and her long veil. Seeing both her and her dad tear-up as they walked down the aisle made my eyes water too. It was just an overwhelming but great moment during the ceremony that I won’t ever forget. ”- Ricky

“My favorite time of the whole wedding day was when I got down the aisle and finally got to marry my best friend after 7 1/2 years!” – Jessica

“The first time I saw at the alter, I was happy. I did not want to cry but of course the water works were already starting. When the doors opened for me I didn’t want people to see me cry but all my butterfly’s where coming in at once. My dad asked me if I wanted to walk in slow or just go for it. I told my dad lets just go and we basically ran down the aisle. I wasn’t nervous to get married because I have always knew Ricky was the one. ” – Jessica

“I would like to re-live the first hour of our wedding ceremony. Walking down the aisle with my parents was a unique experience I’ll never have again. Then seeing Jessica walking down the aisle, beautiful as ever, was awesome. Our priest also made the ceremony great and had a great message in his homily. Overall the ceremony was great.”- Ricky

“Our bridal party consisted of mainly our family. All of Jessica’s siblings and their spouses were a part of our wedding. We are very close to each and every one of them. They love and support us. Being an only-child I never had any experience with having siblings, but they treat me just like a brother. Jessica’s best friends were also in the wedding and have been a big part of her life for a long time. My best-man has been my best friend since high school and I was glad to have him be a part of our wedding experience. We couldn’t have chosen any better people to be a part of our bridal party. ”- Ricky

“When Ricky and I were looking for our venue, we had know idea we were going to pick one that was right down the street from us. I had been to that venue before when it was owned by another company and I was not a fan. When I made an appointment to see the venue, I assumed it was somewhere in Scottsdale. When I put the address in GPS I noticed that it said it was five minutes away from the house. I was confused at first because I assumed it was in Scottsdale. When Ricky and I pulled up to the venue, I told Ricky that I did not like the place because I had visited it years ago for a family members wedding. Ricky told me that we should just look inside and if we don’t like it then we can always leave. When we walked in the venue, I just knew that it was our venue. The next day we came back with our moms and booked the date a year and a half early. ” – Jessica

“I loved everything about her! She was worried I wouldn’t like her dress, but she could have came walking down in a trash-bag (preferably a white trash-bag) and I would have still thought she was beautiful. Her veil was long, flowy, and beautiful. Her make-up was perfect, her hair was perfect, just everything about her was perfect. ”- Ricky

“What I look back on the most of my wedding day is how many people were there and showed their love and support of our relationship. Something I laughed about is when Ricky had to get the garter underneath my dress. I thought Ricky would be too nervous to get the garter, but sure enough he proved me wrong and showed his moves. Things that made the day better is how organized my team was. ” – Jessica

We wish you the happiest ever after Jessica and Ricky!
