As photographers we are always watching people. From behind the lens we pick up on emotions, facial cues and small tells of how two people love each other. Walking into Chris and Annabelle’s wedding day, we already knew what a great connection these two had from their engagement session in Flagstaff this summer, but from the moment Chris turned around to see Annabelle in her dress it was clear how stinkin in love they are! It was adorable! All day Chris could not stop looking at her, telling her how amazing she looked and his eyes truly smiled every time he looked at her. That look was returned as Annabelle held her hubby’s hand walking down the aisle at St Francis and as they danced the night away under the stars.
That connection is so strong with their family too! WhenĀ Aileen, Annabelle’s daughter, saw her for the first time in her dress and we started to do photos of the two of them together it was so emotional for the two of them! I was filled with goosebumps and even started to cry with them!Ā Chris with his brothers, you could tell they had a special bond and all truly loved and cared for one another so much! There was a lot of joking and laughing between them through out the day and it was neat to captureĀ that brotherly love.
One of the most unique aspects of the day that we had never seen before but just loved, was Chris and Annabelle had a private dinner during cocktail hour. At first I thought it was a bit strange but when I walked into this huge master bath and saw them dinning at a table decorated like a sweetheart table with flowers and champagne with a low lit ambience I thought what an amazing idea! They were able to enjoy one another just the two of them and reminisce on the day and prepare for the night ahead just the two of them! They actually got to eat their dinner and then were able to go and mingle with everyone that came to see and celebrate their day!
Thanks so much to these INCREDIBLE vendors for putting together such a flawless day! The design and execution came together perfectly and it was so great working with you all!
