Hi I'm Jenn! I'm a Christ-follower, a wife to an amazing hubby and a mom to three precious little girls. I'm an Arizona native that went to college in Oklahoma, but then fell in love with a guy who lived minutes from my childhood home! I dabbled in a few careers before falling in love with photography and never looked back!
My priorities are raising our girls to know the Lord, constantly growing in our marriage, and providing a safe and peaceful home for our family and friends! I love this phase of life I am in right now and could not be more thankful to have this career that gives me sneak peeks to the best seasons of people's everyday lives. Its the best! I hope I get to capture your life's memories soon!
Classic Elegant Wedding in Scottsdale at The Westin Kierland Resort
October 23, 2017
It was a beautiful October day when Dusty and I pulled into the Westin Kierland in Scottsdale Arizona for Bre and Ryan’s wedding. Walking up to where the girls are getting ready there is always this nervous excitement of the day that is about to unfold, our bags are prepped, our timeline in hand, we are ready for a jam packed day from our very first click of the camera.
But all that build up seems to just dissipate as we walk in their suite on the 8th floor and are greeted by the nicest girls dressed in the cutest robes and a bride that is just glowing in excitement! Half of them have hair and makeup done, and the mood is super laid back and fun as they bounce between stylists, sip drinks and give advice on Bre’s dress and reminding her to take a bit of salad cause she doesn’t want an empty stomach. Bre gets dressed with her mom and then walks out to show her girls to gasps and ‘oooohs” and covered mouths from how gorgeous she looks! Meanwhile Dusty is over with Ryan who is getting ready with Bre’s brothers, they are all sporting a great shade of blue and they walk confidently and even doing a little putting on the green at the Westin golf course. Best dressed golfers that course has ever seen for sure!
We walk outside for some bridal photos and family photos and the excitement builds as the family joins the picture. Proud moms and dad, excited sisters and brothers and grandparents dressed to the nines for this amazing day. The mood only builds as all the guests arrive and anticipate seeing the bride and groom. Up until this point, Ryan and Bre haven’t seen each other yet! So when those big beautiful doors opened and out came Bre with her dad walking beside her, Ryan had the biggest smile on his face! It was priceless!
Its like everything on a wedding day just builds and grows more and more exciting all day! It is all just so fun! Wedding days are truly the best day EVER, its like a party with your best friends, your family and a rocking live band too! : ) And guys, we get to be there in the background, capturing all the fun parts of the day unfolding. Telling each part of your story one photo at a time. Bre and Ryan, your wedding day story was absolutely breathtaking! It was exciting and perfect, and I’m so glad we got to share it with you! Hugs and all of our best as you carve out life as newlyweds! Much love, Jenn and Dusty
Thanks so much to these INCREDIBLE vendors for putting together such a flawless day! The design and execution came together perfectly and it was so great working with you all!
“My first job when I moved back to Arizona was at the Westin Kierland. Having worked there and seen many events take place, I have always loved their outdoor space with the string lights, palm trees and desert surroundings. It was a very easy decision for us when it came to choosing a venue! For colors, we played off of the outdoor vibes and kept our colors neutral… cream, eucalyptus and a hint of pale pink within the flowers.”-Bre
“What I loved most about my beautiful bride, was just that. Her whole ensemble was perfect in my eyes. “-Ryan
“The bridal party was strictly family which was so special to us to have them included in our day. My sister was my best (wo)man and Bre’s brothers were her Brides(men). Small party, simple, and important because it was family. “-Ryan
“I was trying to tell if he was crying!! LOL It was really surreal. I didn’t see anyone else besides him standing there at the end of the aisle. I was just excited all around.”-Bre
“My vail falling off while walking down the aisle makes me laugh! I think when that happened, it helped me relax just a little and become present in the moment! “-Bre
“What I loved about our ceremony was how in sync we were together standing up there reciting our vows. “-Ryan
“I would relive dinner to really remember the taste of the food and have a longer time watching our family and friend meet and enjoy/reminiscing about the day.”-Ryan
“There were so many “favorites” of the day. Getting bridal ready with my closes girlfriends, having my mom help me into my dress and of course my father walking me down the aisle. With all of that, I think my TOP favorite moment was the final dance of the night. Just Ryan and I jamming out to Sky Full of Stars and having all our friends/family surround us and cheer us on. That was the song we got engaged to so it will always hold a special place in my heart.”-Bre
